Telesphere Opens New Network Hubs to Drive Sales of Unified Cloud Communications

Telesphere (News - Alert) has announced that it is aggressively working on expanding it new network hubs in Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles to offer its all-IP network supporting enterprise hosted VoIP and data services to large customer base.

This new strategic expansion involves up-gradation of network points of presence (POPs) in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Portland, Ore., to expand its extensive nationwide network. Telesphere has picked Cisco Systems and ADTRAN (News - Alert) Inc. as its suppliers to build a robust, secure and highly available IP MPLS backbone network.

“Clearly, our strength and our chief selling point is our ability to provide unparalleled Unified Cloud Communications solutions over a national network, with its breadth and capabilities, supported by our own proprietary back-office system that has been designed specifically to serve the Cloud Communications industry,” said Telesphere CEO Clark Peterson.

Peterson said that by the end of this year, they will have 13 POPs situated in all regions of the country, offering more capacity than any other pure play provider of all-IP, cloud-based business communications services.

The company officials said that they are even improving the national network to include many network points of presence (POPs) to key regions of the U.S. and connect them with high-capacity-bandwidth facilities, and this involved major investment from the company.

“We have invested millions of dollars in our network and we continue to invest to ensure superior service to our customers and to attract larger enterprise accounts,” Peterson added.

He said that their privately managed ‘cloud’ network and proprietary back-office system differentiate them from traditional carriers in providing managed voice, data and UC services wherever and whenever needed, with end-to-end quality of service.

Telesphere’s hosted services allow businesses of any size to enjoy all the latest voice, video, data and collaboration features of large enterprise systems without the costly investment in on-premises equipment.

The company even holds technology partnerships with Broadsoft and Polycom (News - Alert), and enjoys strong distribution and account-servicing agreements with several leading resellers of networking services.

In other news, Telesphere was recently selected by mobile device accessories supplier ZAGG (News - Alert) to improve customer experience and enhance online sales.
