ITEXPO Sees the Launch of Genesys Connect for Service Cloud on AppExchange


Contact center solutions provider Genesys (News - Alert) is announcing this week the availability of Genesys Connect for Service Cloud on salesforce.com's AppExchange. Genesys Connect is currently available for a free trial on salesforce AppExchange.


Launched in 2005, Salesforce.com’s (News - Alert) AppExchange is a marketplace for cloud computing applications built for the Salesforce.com community and delivered by partners or by third-party developers, which users can purchase and add to their Salesforce.com environment. There are more than 1,400 applications available from over 450 independent software vendors on AppExchange today. Applications created on the Force.com platform are installed by Salesforce.com customers.

Genesys Connect for Service Cloud was designed to deliver a seamless environment that natively leverages the Service Cloud user interface and administrative environment to ensure that the solution is quick to deploy, easy to administer and simple to use. The combined solution provides an integrated user interface for agents and employees across the voice, social, Web and mobile customer channels.The solution brings together the Genesys voice, routing, customer service and contact center capabilities with Service Cloud to provide a unified and seamless user experience.

Genesys has also announced further expansion of its relationship with Salesforce.com so that customers can now purchase  the natively integrated solution from Genesys, which combines the Genesys Connect cloud contact center solution with Service Cloud.

Genesys is demonstrating Genesys Connect as a Gold Sponsor at ITEXPO, taking place this week at the Miami Convention Center in Miami, Florida. Genesys’ Lisa Abbott, Sr. Director Global Product Marketing, is speaking at a number of sessions, including “The Real Business Value of an Optimal Customer Experience,” “Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Social Software as Customer Service Tools” and “Customer Service: The Organizational Imperative.”
