TMCnet Cloud Call Center Week in Review

It’s time once again to take a look back at the top stories of the week in the Cloud Call Center space. This week, DataMotion unveiled a new cloud version of its platform and 3CLogic (News - Alert) revealed that its cloud-based inbound and outbound call centers will be part of Ultimate Solutions Associates’ home loan modification program.

First up in the world of cloud call centers, DataMotion, a company specializing in cloud-based data delivery services, has upgraded its DataMotion Platform. The new version improves on earlier editions by creating a unified, secure and compliant cloud-based hub to deliver messages, forms and files.

And the new version is a hit with DataMotion customers. One such customer, Diana Steck, manager of the accounts receivable division of the city of Xenia, OH, said, “The DataMotion Platform enables our income tax and utility billing divisions to interact with citizens over secure electronic channels. This is a much more convenient way for citizens to resolve their issues when compared to traditional phone or in-person queries. It is also more cost effective for our city, which is a critical consideration in these times of declining revenue and shrinking budgets.”

In another big story this week, 3CLogic, a company specializing in cloud-based contact centers hosted on Amazon Web Services (News - Alert), has partnered with Ultimate Solutions Associates. The two companies will work together to create a service for customers looking to secure home loan modifications in order to keep their homes out of foreclosure. 3CLogic will provide Interactive Voice Response systems and other services like predictive dialers, voice logger systems and more, in order to keep the process easy and user-friendly.

The solution will help legal assistance keep on top of client needs around the clock. They can check voice mail from the Web, and the IVR system will allow customers to receive help even after hours. In a business where customers are likely stressed out about their finances and home situations, the security and ease of 3CLogic’s solutions will be a great boon.

Well, those were the big stories this week from the Cloud Call Center space. Check back with us for more news in the future!
