Anita Borg Institute Taps Intel Vice President and General Manager to Keynote 2013 Women of Vision Awards Banquet

The Anita Borg Institute (ABI), a non-profit organization focused
on the advancement of women in computer science and engineering,
announced today that Diane M. Bryant, Vice President and General
Manager of the Datacenter and Connected Systems Group for Intel
Corporation, will be the featured keynote speaker at the Women of
Vision Awards Banquet on May 9, 2013 in Santa Clara, CA.
The Anita Borg Institute Women of Vision Awards Banquet honors women
making significant contributions to technology. One winner is
selected in each of three categories: Innovation, Leadership, and
Social Impact. Previous winners include Mary Lou Jepsen, Mitchell
Baker, Helen Greiner, and Duy-Loan T. Le. The award for the Top
Company for Technical Women is also presented at the event. This
award recognizes an organization that has demonstrated measurable
results in the recruitment, retention, and advancement of technical
women at all levels.
Keynote speaker Diane M. Bryant is the Vice President and General
Manager of the Datacenter and Connected Systems Group (DCSG) for
Intel Corporation, leading the worldwide organization which generated
over $10 billion in revenue in 2012. In her current role managing
Intel's P&L strategy and product development for enterprise and cloud
server infrastructure, high performance computing, storage,
communications, networking and intelligent connected systems, she is
at the center of major tech industry trends including cloud
computing, mobile, and high performance computing.
Previously, as Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer
of Intel Corporation, Bryant was responsible for the corporate-wide
information technology solutions and services that enabled Intel's
business strategies for growth and efficiency. She received her
bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from U.C. Davis in 1985,
joining Intel the same year. She attended the Stanford Executive
Program and holds four U.S. patents.
