BigMachines Continues Global Expansion with New Office in Singapore

SINGAPORE, TOKYO, CHICAGO & FRANKFURT --(Business Wire)--

BigMachines, Inc., the leader in sales configurator, B2B ecommerce, quoting and proposal software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)), announced today that it has opened a new office in Singapore to better serve its global enterprise customers and to accelerate global growth. BigMachines has hired Jason Masciarelli as Vice President Asia Pacific to lead this effort to support customers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and to further build a strong team and partnerships for BigMachines in the APAC region.

Jason brings more than 10 years of extensive experience in cloud computing and in Asia. He previously founded and led Theikos Inc., an innovator in cloud computing services. Theikos was subsequently acquired by Astadia, and Jason built and led the APAC region for Astadia following the acquisition.

BigMachines' Asian expansion follows dramatic year-over-year growth; global revenue in Q1 2010 was up more that one hundred prcent compared to Q1 2009. BigMachines' growth has been fueled by its development and successful delivery of innovative SaaS solutions that empower customers to sell more and sell faster across their sales channels and through the Internet with B2B eCommerce.

Many BigMachines customers integrate BigMachines into CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business systems, including systems from salesforce.com, Oracle CRM On Demand, SAP (News - Alert), and Microsoft Dynamics. BigMachines is launching its innovative cloud products in the Asia Pacific market as a Gold Sponsor at salesforce.com Cloudforce events in Singapore on May 25, Melbourne on May 27 and Sydney on June 3. "We're delighted to welcome BigMachines to Asia Pacific. There is incredible demand for Cloud Computing solutions across the region and we're thrilled to be able to work with BigMachines in Asia Pacific to bring the value our joint customers are enjoying in other regions. Their relentless focus on customer success resulted in them being named one of the Top Apps on our AppExchange in 2009," said Steve McWhirter, Senior Vice President, Field Sales, Asia Pacific, Salesforce.com.

"BigMachines continues to invest in building our team and infrastructure so we can deliver innovation and success to our customers around the world," said Godard Abel, CEO and co-founder of BigMachines.
