NETSEA February 26 Panel: Successfully Navigating 2009 Using Tech Crash Data and Executive Insights

WALTHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)--

NETSEA, the New England Technology Sales Executives Association, today announced its quarterly educational and networking event, "Successfully Navigating 2009 Using Tech Crash Data and Executive Insights," will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Communications Conference Center in Waltham, Mass.

A panel of senior sales executives will share their insight on trends within the technology sector during the early 2000s and now. Keynote speaker Doug Banks (Mass High Tech), along with panelists Sid Lejfer (Harvest Solutions), Neil Baron (ATMI), and Marty Petraitis (Blueshift Technologies) will compare the recession to the dot-com burst, and offer insight on how to leverage tools, technology, and information to successfully navigate the twists and turns of the current recession.

The executive panel will also tackle three key issues:

Economic impact on sales in 2009

Data on the status of the workforce

How to succeed in a tough economy

"Our panelists bring a unique perspective on the challenges facing the New England technology industry today," said Lauren Kelley, board chairman and president of NETSEA. "Lessons from the rise and fall of the dot-com industry can be applied to today's recession and companies would do well to look back to the recent past."

Following the panel discussion, a Q&A session will enable attendees to ask questions specific to his or her organization and situation.
